^While indisputable, York and Lancaster counties' finest infect Charlotte like the plague, whereas Chapel Hill fags don't quite have the same effect on Raleigh.

Charlotte certainly has more things to do, like NBA/NFL games, carowinds park, NASCAR, etc.
Southpoint mall also beats any malls in Triangle.

I'm still open to trading Charlotte for Myrtle Beach.

I think it's a pretty fair trade.

While all of our professional sports teams finished outside of the playoffs, at least Raleigh's was over .500

^ouch lol

This one had me rolling:

Can't tell if this is Zine trolling or if this is supposed to be legit. Reading between the lines it's pretty telling of banker culture.

If I moved back to NC it would be Charlotte I think. In N Texas the most common out of state tag is Florida.

I have lived 25-ish years of my life just west of Charlotte and 14-ish years in Raleigh/Garner. Put my close friends and family in Raleigh and I'd choose Raleigh over Charlotte.

Lived in Garner at the creation of this thread.

Since a bit of this thread is about transportation, Charlotte has been pretty good over the past years with making the city more bike-friendly, from dedicated bike lanes (like they transform a normal "car" lane to a dedicated bike lane, not just give you a 2-foot shoulder with a white line painted) and also they greenways now connect for like 30+ miles from the NC/SC border all the way up near UNC Charlotte, aka the real UNC

I never even think about Charlotte.

Unless I have to drive there.

Then I get mad that I'm in Charlotte.

now we just need for them to enforce against the idiots and delivery trucks that use this lane for temp parking.
