Its a bit satisfying.....people finally coming around with some public evidence on alllll the crap going on in chapel hill.

Kudos to PP for digging stuff up. We are getting closer to the truth about UNC.

Anyone here remember the dead track coach found in his back seat near Jordan lake?

Well, my source on that story was very close to Blackstock.

So if the gangsters around the program are probed, this could get really exciting really quickly.

UNCheat can dodge bullets (drugs, agents and such). But they can't dodge murder.

Have a nice day.

Caulton Tudor weighed in yesterday: http://www.wralsportsfan.com/summer-storyline-cocktail-one-part-p-j-one-part-pirates-/12624316/

Quote :
"Summer storyline cocktail: One part P.J., one part Pirates

By Caulton Tudor

The summer wind - thus far - has blown in.

Yet another thunderstorm of anxiety for UNC fans, this time in the form of basketball player P.J. Hairston.

Until the details become clear about the junior forward’s June 5 arrest in Durham for driving without a license and marijuana possession, Tar Heel coach Roy Williams, and the school, are right to reserve judgment.

But my guess is that Hairston is a long shot to play another game for Carolina.

Hopefully, I’m guessing wrong. Hopefully, Hairston will turn out to be in no serious trouble and will back on the court to continue the surge that helped the Heels turn around their fortune last season.

That said, the entire situation involving Hairston and two other men - Miykael Faulcon and Carlos Sanford - royally flunks the smell test.

Police found a pistol outside a 2013 GMC Yukon rental driven by Hairston. Who put the gun there - and why - isn’t known.

Again, hopefully the weapon was never in the possession of Hairston or anyone else in the car. But the longer the gun isn’t linked to someone, somewhere, the worse it looks for Hairston.

At the very best, Hairston has established that he’s playing fast and loose on the lifestyle front. If he was driving without a license, that alone is proof of poor decision making."

So the best case scenario is that the gun manifested from raw materials on the ground near the car at the exact moment they were pulled by the police.

I bet the cop is a PP poster and planted the gun. This will result in Tourney ban for State.

I don't understand how a fingerprint analysis hasn't come back. Maybe they wiped the prints, but as Tutor said, if they can't implicate somebody else, it still reflects poorly on PJ. I bet that UNC or somebody ends up paying off one of the other guys to take the fall for everything.

Toots

I think most people are usually little annoyed with Caulton Tudor. He has a weird take on things, and he clearly admires Chapel Hill after his Pirates. But, for whatever reason, I actually hate the guy. I hate him with all my heart. I'd push him down a flight of stairs if I ever got the chance.

^^It's definitely a little much. That's how hate works once it gets in your heart.

But that blurb up there hardly condemns any thing worth condemning. According to Tudor, Hairston and his buddies spontaneously made some poor decisions all on their own. But he hopes he's wrong. He doesn't want to rush to judgment about Hairston. And that's all there is to it.

Usually stuff that is going in the next morning edition gets posted the night before late. I don't know how their deadlines/posting work but its not unusual from what I've seen.

Good point. But it's still getting the weekend news cycle treatment. I just can't figure out how people don't know how the internets work by now. Don't they have special "social media" experts come in to teach athletes not to post their whole lives online?

They are supposed to educate athletes about compliance. Infact UNC does have a twitter account for this: https://twitter.com/UNCcompliance

But, what do they choose to do with their twitter? Blow their own fucking trumpet. Carolina style.

$60/day is totally possible. Insurance rentals usually run at $30/day, but some people have $60/day coverage. Additionally, when somebody rents for am extended period of time, they usually get a break. So none of that surprises me.
