a lot of examination of the dynamics of population size and food needs, production, distribution and utilization. Consequences of inadequate nutrition and food choices, efforts to increase the compatibility of effective food production systems and alternate crops and cropping systems examined.

Normally you have several months of class prior to the final, and these classes are used to present information that will appear on a final examination.

haha does Patterson still teach this? we had it in a conference room with reclining chairs and he would bring in a smorgasbord of food and let us eat the whole time and said "make sure you get your nourishment!"

we had no idea what was on the final. he handed it out and everyone just paused and finally somebody said something to the effect of "we never covered any of this". Dr. Patterson said to just write down everything we learned in the class so I just kept repeating the word "sustainability" because we really didn't learn anything. Everyone got an A+. I love that guy.
