I assume you read Adam Feuerstein's article?

http://www.thestreet.com/story/12783203/1/inovio-declares-spin-laden-victory-with-dna-vaccine.html

That guy is a shill and widely assumed to be a shorter who puts out hit piece articles to help his hedge fund buddies. He "specializes" on biopharms, despite having no background (he has a poly sci degree), and for some reason has a decent following (despite being wrong time after time). Just look at Puma Bio (PBYI)...they are up 300% since yesterday after their breast cancer drug was a success. Adam Shitstain was calling them a failure just a few days ago. He also has been putting out hit articles over the last year against INO and has some sort of vandetta against them.

Just wait until INO's cheif medical officer presents later this afternoon...Adam will be sent home crying

1pm EST

http://www.isdv.org/2014/schedule/2014-dna-vaccine-conference
^those times are all listed in PST

also if they doctored their results, do you think they'd be submitting them for peer review?

INO WE BACK

Just got home and checked my computer...INO filled an S-3 for $175M, pps down afterhours

someone emailed their IR guy and got this:

Quote :
"We are advancing a technology and building a company. Over time we will raise capital and invest it as the Board and management thinks is prudent.

We just announced a great step in our technology development that opens many doors that much wider. While the shelf filing is not in itself a capital raising, it says that we have the conviction that our opportunities are important and worthwhile enough to invest in and potentially raise more capital for in the future. One example would be to potentially finance a phase III study.

Best regards,
Bernie Hertel
VP Investor Relations & Communications"

I think they will announce a PIII partnership pretty soon (with shared financing), which is why they did this so quickly after announcing results

"Inovio price target raised to $29 from $26 at Piper Jaffray
Piper Jaffray raised Overweight rated Inovio's price target to $29 following positive Phase II results for the VGX-3100 cervical dysplasi trial."

starting to rebound now after the (potential) dillution news and that cock sucker from The Street's "article"

also, that S-3 was just an addition to the one they filed earlier this year of $125M, not as bad as everyone initially thought

INO is now the 2nd biggest holding in the SPDR biotech ETF (XBI) (2% of fund)...they've been involved in it for a while now but this is the highest that I've seen INO, they have ~1.6M shares

they made out pretty big with PBYI (puma bio) too, they have ~230,000 shares...not sure how many they had before PBYI's big jump the other day, but if they had all of them prior to that day they would have made around $35M+...it looks like they had a pretty decent amout of shares because XBI shot up ~10% that day which is crazy for an index fund

[Edited on July 25, 2014 at 11:03 AM. Reason : once they announce a partnership for Phase III, it's going over 15 buck dollars]

I got in a little but under 19, I'm holding off on selling for now, but may sell next week depending on how things go. I think it'll gap up Monday and hit at least 30 before settling lower.

Posting about getting in and out of IPO stocks should go in the Gambling the Stock Market 2014 thread. You know it and I know. Are your accounts even big enough to avoid the day trade limits bros?

To be fair unless you are parking all of your money in some sort of stable value investment we are all gambling in the stock market. Doesn't matter what stocks you are in any number of things can come along and blindside you along with your money.

Thanks for the reminder on MBLY...completely forgot that was coming up. Im jumping into it...the growth potential is incredible for really the only credible player in the industry.

^ Is VZ a short term or long term hold? What's your impetus for buying in? Just wondering - for me the mobile industry seems to be heading towards narrow profit margins. Maybe the iPhone release will give it a kick.

^^^^ I've had a pretty nice position in VZ since 2010 in my "hookers & blow" account (i.e., not retirement savings— just fun money). I'm not out to beat the market in that account; just to generate slow and steady growth.

The dividend is nice. That account is largely telecom, oil/energy, financials, and fixed income ETFs.

LMAO...250% gain a "losing strategy"

You've been riding my dick since I started posting about INO and it's been making gains the whole time. Why don't you fuck off and just ignore my posts if it bothers you so much that you're wrong?

Because you're annoying as fuck. You got lucky with one stock and now all you do is post when it goes up 5% after going down 20%. Even in a dead and tired thread on a dead and tired forum you've somehow managed to be even more banal than that.

Probably time to just cash out and blow your 100s in gains on a hooker and crack and kill yourself.
