You've been riding my dick since I started posting about INO and it's been making gains the whole time. Why don't you fuck off and just ignore my posts if it bothers you so much that you're wrong?"

Psh. I'm easily up 300+% on aapl and you don't hear me going on and on about it. That's a company with 150 billion + in cash and an actual p/e. You're posting about some random biotec as if I couldn't find a dozen others with triple digit gains this past year. INO had to do a reverse stock split just to stay on the market. What a joke.

His rationale has been as sound as any others in this thread. I bought in at $0.86 not expecting much. But Walter's reasoning was just as rational as any other poster on this site. I enjoy his posts because he is providing explanation for why he expects INO to continue as a good investment.

However, i havent seen you post anything worthwhile in this dying thread.

surprised VMW is down - it's their big conference of the year which usually provides at least a minor jump for most companies

It was a good time to hold PSMI last week. They had a buyout offer and shares shot up from 7.65 to 12.40.

AAPL taking it on the chin today...volume is already over 50% above the average. I figure it will recover at least a little before the market closes today, but it's been in free fall up till now.

bought in 50 shares @ $99. Im thinking it's just short term impacts: profit taking, photo hacking scandal, and Samsungs release of the Note 4 with VR integration. This is assuming the iPhone 6 wows consumers. If not....

Jumped out of TRUE way too early. Bought in @ $18.75 and sold at $21 on Friday, and of course it rockets up to $24 yesterday

Nice pop from MBLY. Hadn't checked it since I bought into their overpriced IPO.

unloaded about 1/3 of my aapl holding at 102.3. It was getting to be around 20% of overall holdings, so it was a good time to rebalance.

How do you guys able to pre order the IPO? I am using Optionexpress and they don't even have BABA or any IPOs listed to preorder.

What is your opinion on BABA? I mean, the logistics of this deal are incredibly sketchy to say the least.

So, here is my take:

1. Wall Street sells it as the next big money maker.

2. People rush to it and Wall Street makes bank off of commissions.

3. Inevitably a scandal arises regarding fraud or the purchasing of fake Lebron Shoes.

4. BABA quietly backs out, or is forced out, Wall Street wins and errbody else is left wondering what hit them.

"Post-IPO Trading

Clients can purchase shares of a new stock in the secondary market after the Initial Public Offering (IPO). This means that instead of purchasing shares directly from the issuer at the IPO price, orders are placed in the secondary market once the newly-issued shares begin trading. The following rules and requirements apply:

· Limit and Stop-Limit-on-Quote Orders can be entered online or through a broker the morning the stock is scheduled to begin trading in the secondary market.
· Once the stock begins trading (after the Primary Opening Print), normal order entry is allowed (market orders, stop-on-quote orders, etc.).
· The necessary funds for the purchase amount must be posted in the account prior to placing an order."

Yeah, didn't work. I put an order in (also at $75) this morning when I woke up.

Latest reports are that it will open at $80-82, though. I'm think I'll hold right where I'm at and see if I can get in at $75 with volatility.

Also used today's high's to take profits on a stock or two that I've been wanting to get out of.

[Edited on September 19, 2014 at 10:32 AM. Reason : Now I'm hearing $84-87. Wtf]

87 ask, 84 bid

there might be a mid-high 70s entry point later in the day when there is some profit harvesting.

yep, just updated...apparently the exchange is delaying trading b/c they're having trouble getting enough sellers to cover the buy orders. This thing might skyrocket for a bit once it opens.

I fucked this up this morning. Had to work away from my desk and didn't put a high enough limit on my order. Oh well. It'll be interesting to see how high BABA goes next week. I'm still tempted to buy at $100.
