Anyone have experience with this? My 10 y/o spayed female lab mix has it...used to happen very infrequently, but
in the past few days it's been 2-3 times a day, and not just a small amount either

She'll be going to the vet next week, but I'd like to hear about any experience any of you all have.

^ They did some initial urinalysis...no sign of infection. We were presented with the following options:

1) Send urine to lab for further bacterial testing. $100+
2) Put her on some special doggy antibiotics just in case it is bacterial - $100
3) Put her on a more standard antibiotic like cipro - $60
4) Assuming it's not bacterial, and it's just like, er, naturally occurring incontinence, try a course of PPA - $25

We chose option 4, and so far, so good. 3 does per day, and she hasn't had an accident since her first dose yesterday afternoon.

my parent's dog had problems peeing herself and they put her on a drug that essentially tightened up her urethra and it's worked really well.
