one guy that isnt on the hornets, and one guy thats out for the season. I was going to chalk up PJ Hairstyle to some cool new nickname I didn't understand, but turns out the guy's just an idiot.

After defeating Wolves and Knicks, they are now No. 8 in the East.

A big change this year is that, they follow my advice and focus on outside shooting and penetration. Again, Run & Gun is a good fit for the current roster.

Quote :
"It's a group of very talented kids under 25. They just need to make changes on team offense strategy. From Big AL-Walker system to a whole new system. Big AL's low post ISO play is out of date already. Like I said before, Walker, Kaminsky and Lamb could be the new big 3 of southeast division. The focus should move from under the rim to around perimeter or downtown. Forget about Okafor, Wallace or Mourning. This is a whole new Hornet.

Lin and Batum are veterans willing to prove themselves again. They should be helpful at crunch time.

It's time for Run and Gun. "

That was a great 4th quarter. Sure they had the lead twice in the last 15 seconds and are going to overtime, but to outscore the Kings 38-21 in the quarter is pretty strong.

Wish Kemba could find a happy medium. He either can't hit anything or can't be stopped (like last night).

Also, Lin might be the best free agent signing this team has ever made. He's been in Linsanity mode basically since he got here.

Good to see Kaminsky more minutes. Maybe Clifford is losing his boner for Hawes.

This is still Kemba's team, just like CLE is Irving's team before Lebron went there.
Kaminsky is supposed to be good, as they let the Duke guy go and chose him.
Lin is not always in the Linsanity mode, but is a really good backup PG for Kemba.
This team is just SLOWLY getting better.

Holy mother. Steph Curry is absolutely unconscious right now.

Hornets are sucking, but I've never seen a team with a better offense than this Warriors team. It's not even fair that they play good defense too.

Don't go out on a limb there shoot.

I'm thinking 75-7... Figure a few injuries will trip them up and fatigue could catch up to them a few nights. Otherwise I'd comfortably say 81-1 like the panthers

75-7is crazy. They need a coach K.

I think they will soon collapse. They are gonna get challenged one team after another, CLE, SPURS, etc.

Absolutely throttled the Grizzlies tonight. Kemba went nuts. Lin was basically unguardable (must be the new hairdo). Everybody else was pretty damn good too.

Becoming more and more obvious that this team can win -- and win big -- without Big Al. The offense flows so effortlessly without him in the game.

I'm surprised they haven't gotten a little more love for this great start from the national guys.

What the Warriors are doing is historic so that is all anyone is talking about NBA wise. Some coverage of Kobe retiring and Curry/LeBron, but not much else. No one pays attention to the NBA until after the Super Bowl anyway. I really only follow the playoffs as do a lot of other people.

Hopefully this will be the last year. They turned down extending PJ's rookie deal, and it would have been pretty cheap to pick it up so you have to figure he's on his way out. Hansbrough is on a one year deal, he's still as unskilled as ever and I can't imagine him being in the league much longer. Marvin Williams is also in the last year of his contract, though he's actually been decent this year.

Marvin only went there 1 year

PJ and Sacko T went there multiple years each

Coincidence?

Hairston is only playing a lot because MKG is hurt. I am assuming MKG is done for the year? Otherwise this could be a good team. Batum has been a great addition replacing Henderson. Zeller is improving and I hate to admit it, but Frank has been a decent pick so far. Al Jefferson is really slowing down so it will be good to get his contract off the books. It runs out after this year I think. And with Zeller/Kaminsky, he is gone.

Big AL is already out, literally speaking. He plays like an old ass Shaq. He MUST be out,for now. The whole team will organize a lot faster. He's a black hole when he gets the ball.

Lamb makes his supporters frustrated. He is supposed to be a solid scorer. Lamb has to share kemba's burden.

Overall, nobody can push the team forward except our loyal hornet kemba walker. He's the soul of the team I guess. Let's see.

He can't get back soon enough. Hornets have plenty of offense but suck mightily on defense. (When PJ Hairston is your shut-down defender, you got problems).

MKG changes everything defensively, plus he's great on the offensive glass and in transition. Hopefully his jump shot is semi-respectable, because he does everything else damn near perfectly.

Spencer Hawes may very well be the worst player in the NBA this season. I've watched plenty of Hornets games this season, and he's blatantly missed at least 5 point-blank layups. And PJ Hairston is garbage, misses wide open 3's constantly, luckily looks like he'll be gone after this season. Can't wait for MKG to get back so he can be relegated to the bench more times than not.

They are DONE this season already, basically. Half of the games already have been played, and this team is so frustrated as never before. They rose and fell in an eye blink. Now they keep sinking. They could lose the entire games of the rest January, even February.

They deserve rebuilding I think. MKG can't help much. There's fundamental severe issue inside the team.

I don't think the team is done by any means -- especially in an awfully mediocre East. They've dug themselves a hole, but all they need is a little hot streak to right the ship. Injuries derailed what was a great start for them. Batum, Lamb, and MKG will be healed soon -- and presumably Jefferson, though I'm not sure he helps.

MKG not only puts a blanket on the other team's top threat, he also wins you so many 50/50 balls. Hornets don't need him to carry any scoring load -- just hustle his ass off, grab some boards, play lock-down defense, and get some easy/transition baskets -- stuff he does as well as any SF in the league.

Hopefully we go to a smaller lineup some when he's back. Kemba, Lin/Lamb, MKG, Batum, and Zeller/Frank would be fun to watch.

The rumors and local fans' discussions show that MKG won't be able to return until mid Feb, which means very likely we are gonna lose all the games from now on till then, since they are almost all games on the road. Also the rumor is Lin for Derrick Rose after this season is over, which is mid Apr, only less than three months away.

Even if MKG is back in mid Feb, there are only two months left for him. How good is he gonna be at that time? How is his status? He can instantly change the team? It's highly likely gonna happen next season.

MKG comes back and Hornets make postseason

Terry Henderson comes back and NCSU makes NCAAT

Either going to happen?
