Barcelona are virtually playing the same system as Guardiola. Its incredible how many similarities I am seeing in their setup and play to the two CL finals we played against them. Arsenal should have taken that one chance early on, this is going to be backs to the wall defending at this rate.

They are looking good defensively though. Organized for sure. I think they need to put on Welbeck and Walcott to stretch the play.

Blind has actually done well I think. It helps that Smalling was next to him maybe. Blind reads the game well though and his positioning is always very good. With that much inexperience with the wing backs though he is going to have his work cut out for him.

Evans wasn't cutting it to be fair. I am ok with his sale. We needed to bring in a center half in the transfer window though, especially since we knew Jones was injury prone. I am disappointed in Jones. He should have really been the one to step up this year instead of Smalling. Could have been very useful to have Jones and Smalling as our commanding center halfs. I have a feeling Jones isn't going to be around much longer.
