I wasn't a huge fan of the most recent book. None of the characters really feel like they really grew after a 30 year time jump, so it was hard to believe. I understand why they did it, but still...

Syfy will no longer be carrying this show, I really fucking hope someone else picks it up, it’s one of the best shows on tv IMO

Watching all the space combat in this show has me doing math. I'm sure everyone will be interested to know that having a remote possibility of hitting a constant-acceleration target past 30 km with a ballistic projectile would require nothing short of magic.

You don't need sufficiently advanced technology, just guided projectiles.

Also, with the apparent ability to sustain 1g acceleration for days if not weeks, they'd be to other stars by now.

Clearly they say they're under 1g for the sake of budget. In the books, it's usually much less. That's the reason why the Nauvo is a spinning cylinder for gravity

I’ve been watching this... the first season was pretty boring but the 2nd half of the 2md season is good.

The set design, special effects, and world building are phenomenal, reminds me a lot of cowboy bebop.

I think Avasarala is one of the standouts on the show. She's fantastic.

Note: I didn't read the book so have no clue if the casting matches the book.

watched the whole season on Saturday. I thought it was great! kept expecting those rocks earlier and kinda pissed how they left it, but overall really enjoyed the season!

Just finished the new season, loved it.

Amos was great this season, and loved that the big bad had a line about "must have that kind of face" since the actor 100% has that kind of face.

Not sure why the old OPA guy boarded inaros ship with just 3 people instead of just shooting it down. Also was inaros flinging a bunch of asteroids (more then the 2 they took) or are they also bringing attack ships to earth? That map of everything converging showed them lining up near earth but not impacting.

Looks like no Alex recast; he's just gone I suppose? Maybe they will have him just reconnecting with his wife and son? Since its the final season I guess that works. Hate that it is ending before the book series ends though.

From what I've read the last 2-3 books make a 30 year time jump, the cold opens would go towards that plot line. The rest of the show took the first however many books' plot line to the end.

Im not sure if they are gambling someone could decide to pick up the other line or what, I don't know if I wish they skipped it or not. Does make me intrigued to just buy the last few books.
