Honestly it's come to the point that he deserves the JCE treatment. Too many other good people and decent arguments on here to waste time on him.

^thats typical. people in this country can't even open their mind enough to even DISCUSS things they fundamentally disagree with because they have already decided they will vote one way for all of eternity. that attitude is exactly why we are where we are today

I'm against all wars but these wars don't actually cost what they cost the government. Defense contracts are written in a way that is very generous. You see how much the olympics in russia cost. That wasn't the cost. That was corruption. Russia has extreme examples but the same thing happens in everyday government operations here. Things are knowingly inefficient, complicated, and wasteful because it allows for certain people to make more money and get more "work".

OBAMACARE is mandated health insurance. Huge gift for the health insurance companies because now the government forces every person in the country to buy their product. Of course that is not going to end well for the consumer. The same with student loans and the cost of education. This hybrid of big government capitalism is what you are talking about. Don't put that on socialism because its not socialism. Its for-profit government.

"

so are you saying the emails still exist and can still be hacked. That means that the fbi and everyone is in on it. That would be a much bigger, massive scale indictment of corruption. If so, trump working with the russians to liberate us by exposing this would be an even more moral version of snowden.

so if thats not what you are saying why not just clarify what you are saying because coming back just to call me stupid makes it look like you have nothing better to say.

Its funny JCE was brought up. This is what you guys do all of the time and JCE was right on with that part (i defended him about that in one thread where i completely disagreed with him)
1. state a position
2. discuss minor nuances of your position in an homogenous echo chamber
3. if someone disagrees fundamentally, call them a name

It happened in the rape thread as well. Explaining your positions is just too inconvenient.

It's just a "waste of your time" to address dissent, right? You have all the time in the world for personal insults and spam, but if you don't refute someone's argument it's because they are too stupid and you are too smart, right?

I'm amazed at how the SJW posters have somehow convinced themselves that they are so intellectually superior to anyone that disagrees with them.

It's honestly just echo chamber syndrome, they just want a place to spam their leftist links in peace.

Trump asked Russia to turn over emails that were deleted 3 years ago and the subject of an FBI investigation, and may also be the subject of another potential ongoing investigation into the Clinton foundation. That's not treason - that's asking Russia to comply with the MLAT that the Clinton administration signed in 2000.

if that's true he's kinda a scam artist, right? i mean he railed against the system, but he was the one who used it more than anyone else if he only flipped to Dem for a 12 month period. but i guess the silver lining is that at least all of his buddies got rich off of the $27 average.

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2016/07/26/bernie-sanders-to-return-to-senate-as-an-independent/
Quote :
"PHILADELPHIA – Bernie Sanders said he plans to return to the Senate as an independent, despite winning 13 million votes in the Democratic Party’s presidential primary contest.

“I was elected as an independent; I’ll stay two years more as an independent,” Mr. Sanders said.

Speaking at the Bloomberg Politics breakfast on Tuesday, Mr. Sanders also said the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee doesn’t go far enough in fixing the situation and that more staff members need to leave following embarrassing disclosures of thousands of internal emails.

“We need a DNC which has as very different direction,” he said. “I honestly don’t know many of the people there. But my guess is we’re going to need new leadership, a new direction and new personnel.”

Asked after the event whether Mr. Sanders considers himself a Democrat or an independent, a campaign aide said, “He ran for president as a Democrat but was elected to a six-year term in the Senate as an independent.”

Mr. Sanders’s appearance followed his prime-time speech Monday in which he urged his supporters to back Mrs. Clinton. As for his own future in the party, he said he would remain an independent as he serves out his senate term. Vermont has no party registration. But when Mr. Sanders entered the presidential race last year he proclaimed himself a Democrat.

The emails, released by Wikileaks, showed DNC aides plotting ways to undermine Mr. Sanders’s campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination. In some measure they confirm a charge that the Sanders campaign made from the beginning of the primary fight: that Ms. Wasserman Schultz and her staff wanted Hillary Clinton to prevail.

On the eve of the four-day convention devoted to Mrs. Clinton’s nomination, Ms. Wasserman Schultz announced she was stepping down as chairwoman. She has played no public role in the convention proceedings.

Mr. Sanders cast the DNC as an inept operation that has failed to inspire people to vote, resulting in large Democratic losses in years when the president is not on the ballot.

He said the DNC needs new “leadership and a new chair that would lead the process of transforming the Democratic Party.”

Donna Brazile, a longtime Democratic official, has stepped in as interim chairwoman. On Monday she issued an apology for the emails. She has also made an overture to Mr. Sanders, inviting his campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, to lend help to the committee in “voter participation” and “civic engagement.”

“I’ll help Donna Brazile any way he can,” Mr. Weaver said in an interview."

Willful ignorance is reading what I stated, know it to be correct, but continue to bury your head in the sand with the "Trump is bad and stupid" line of thinking. He hijacked the entire Republican party because no one wanted to take the man seriously. By making one bold statement about the missing emails, he trapped Hillary into suggesting that her deleted emails weren't personal in nature and instead were a national security threat. That statement was blasted by simpletons across the internet under the guise of exposing treason, yet instead it was a perfectly valid statement based on our current laws.

Funny how suddenly the left cares about treason/national security when Trump asks Russia to release hacked emails, but is fine with Clinton deliberately hiding her emails on an unsecured server and deleting the evidence and lying about it.

Is it treasonous to ask a foreign government to expose the treasonous acts of your own corrupt politicians?

She probably deleted stuff discussing presidential campaign strategies, including how to deal with Bill's multiple sexual assault allegations. You could stretch and call that a "national security" matter if used as blackmail against a sitting president. It would also be unclassified.

I'm saying that a lot of HRC supporters back in the primary had their main arguments put to bed with the latest wikileaks. They thought a. Trump could beat bernie and b. HRC would do a of things for everyday people and genuinely wanted a lot of what bernie wanted.

If Bernie was running, i wonder what the worst thing they could have dug up on him.

They would have really nothing on him. Hopeless resignation is the real winner in this cycle:

there was never a need to have dirt on Bernie, because this election has been rigged for Hillary from the start. I think Wikileaks isn't going to drop anything damning in October, because they don't want it to get somehow buried by the media. They're waiting for November/December after Hillary has already gotten elected. Releasing ~2000 of 50,000 emails hints that they're not going to release all the emails in a month.

now we know who we can't trust anymore. please progressives don't ever be fooled again by bernie and warren. they have let you down tremendously. Warren could have stepped up and endorsed bernie when the contrast on banking first appeared. They probably wouldve won the nomination.

Bernie could have saved his dignity by sitting out of the convention. you betrayed us by sheepdogging revolutionary, anti wall street votes into an antirevultionary party
