I kind of agree with the editor's letter, but the actual result was... just really bad. The headline story is really reaching, and the language is total overkill and extremely distracting. The "whose is bigger" story is just too heavy-handed. Frankly, it just seems like nothing is actually mocking UNC at all--and they fall back on what they're calling satire, but satire being actually difficult to write, they failed pretty miserably at it.
