Binged watched the entire season last night and thought it was awesome. First couple episodes were a little iffy with setting everything up, but it hit its stride right after that and I just thought it was great. Paul Rust is the perfect nerd (and the token black guy was the perfect token black guy). I also now have a major crush on Gillian Jacobs...she might have moved into my top 5 after last night.

Solid show...highly recommend.

I enjoyed it, but I had kind of the opposite thoughts on it as you- I thought it started out pretty good, but felt the last few episodes were a lot weaker. Overall still an enjoyable show though, worth a watch.

I thought it was fine, but really didn't like Paul Rust

a bit too-cringeworthy at times

^ True...although I imagine it's difficult to fill that role with someone in the middle. You're always going to have a Paul Rust/Jesse Eisenberg/Michael Cera type in these roles. Paul was extremely awkward.

those 2 are much better actors than Rust, who wrote it and isn't a full-time actor

I just think he played it a bit too squeamish and the other two would have played it a bit more subdued/subtlety

But were they options for the role (although I'm sure Rust wanted to play the part)? I doubt there was a massive budget for accomplished actors for this show. What was Jacob's biggest role in recent years? A couple episodes on Girls?

If you don't know Britta Perry, you need to stop posting about Love and watch Community with the quickness.

Yeah...I've somehow avoided Community over the years. Plan on watching it at some point, but it's not high on my list.

It's such a good show. Once it makes it past the first few episodes and moves into the weird topics and pop culture centric episodes it really takes off. Avoid season 4 like the plague, Sony fired Harmon for that year and it is pure garbage.

I'm about halfway through season 2, and really enjoying it. I thought season 1 was just ok, but so far season 2 has been great
