i'm not trying to scoff at the storm by any means...but as of this morning (and even this morning is too late to make that call...it needed to be done yesterday at the latest) the NWS was projecting about 4" rain in Raleigh over the course of today, tomorrow, and Sunday. and strongest gusts being 40 mph.

oh god, the USF game was the worst. seriously...probably the most miserable i've ever been at a game. the MD game in TOB's first year is up there too. no rain, just bitter cold and like a 38-0 loss that kept us from bowling.

for the MD game it was the combination of the two...bitter cold + blowout loss with bowl game on the line just combined to be awful. had we won, the weather would've been at least bearable.

There was a 100 degree Clemson blowout loss circa 2005 where a lot of students left by ambulance.

There was also a cold ass ECU blowout loss at the end of the Chuck era.

Then of course last year's Louisville game was a total washout.

ND doesn't have much of a run game aside from their QB and their DL is not a particular strength (0 sacks from DL all season), I gotta think the rain/messy conditions could play to our favor. Our secondary is a our weakness defensively, but maybe there won't be a ton of passing today.
