Saturday's loss was a heartbreaker -- battled back with 3 runs in the 9th to go to extra innings, then lost it in the 10th.

Brown started Saturday but looked really off. He's having trouble controlling his money pitch, the change-up, which makes all his other pitches less effective. Hopefully he fixes it quick.

Game vs Charlotte started great at 14-0, but it did get worrisome when they pulled to 14-10.

Been to all 3 games vs Charlotte at Knights Stadium... 3-0 in that place!

Well we did win. Taking the series from fsu would be good.. But we need to almost win out for the year to be where expectations were at the beginning (whether they were fair or not, idk, I don't follow college baseball very closely)

the expectations were based on inconsistent pitchers from last year taking a step forward this year. They didn't, so we suck.

Also, please note it is not acceptable to yell, "Let's go, red!" because Wisconsin and Louisville would have serious objections.

We need to go fairly deep in the tournament...Luckily the offense that was so touted in the offseason has finally come alive. Out of the depths.

Didn't realize they changed the ACC tournament format to 4 pools of 3 teams. I guess it was because we knocked UNC out of the tournament on the final weekend (if I remember correctly) last year.

Hopefully we can climb up the standings a few spots and avoid UNC and L'ville in pool play.

I'm not really sure what went wrong with the team until this point, but Avent's teams seem to play much better the last few weeks of the year than the first.

Dunand is finally starting to put it all together at the plate, thank God. He was just named ACC Player of the Week and CBN National player of the week after he had four HRs last week.

I haven't seen the team play much, but it seems like guys we expected to take big steps forward this year haven't -- Pitarra, Deathrage, etc. And guys who were fantastic last year are just ho-hum this year -- namely Mendoza.

^^ I think were in the NCAA's. Everything for the last couple weeks has had us as a 3 seed.

We jumped 7 spots in the RPI over the weekend to get to #40. Clempson will either be a vindication of our turn-around or a reality check.
