Coke brought it so hard. Harder than Amazon/Apple/Microsoft/all them combined.

And then even Ford put it out there with a very strange use of Nina Simone.

This is awesome.

Coke reran an old Olympics ad set to "America the Beautiful" in different languages where a bunch of people do daily life stuff wearing cowboy hats, hijabs, yarmulkes, and whatnot.

And then people start guzzling Cokes, and some text asserts that "Together is Beautiful."

Apparently, some folks forgot that Coke has always wanted us to sing in perfect harmony and globally consume their tasty cola product. So they're pissed now and boycotting Coke. Together is ugly!

Coke makes most of their money outside of the U.S. at this point AND their Atlanta based.

This is a trump (patriots) vs anti trump (Falcons) game as could have ever happened.

So far I actually think the Mr. Clean commercial has been the best. This last break with the hair commercial, Melissa McCartney, and Stranger Things season 2 has by far been the best collective commercial break

LOL! Anyway, I thought that once again the commercials generally sucked like they have for a while now. There were 2, or 3 that were sort of funny. I just want some really funny Bud Light and Pepsi advertisements like they used to have. Tonight a lot of them seemed to have a left leaning political theme. Super Bowl commercials should not be used to bring up the issues of women's equality, homosexuality, and immigration.

I mean the sappy political commercials were fine but I liked the Cam Newton Buick commercial and the Melissa McCarthy Kia commercial the best.

^Yeah but none of them were nearly as funny as the ones from previous Super Bowls. People have come to expect quality humor, or just pure awesomeness in Super Bowl advertisements, but that hasn't been happening for a while now.

^I just don't like how everything has to involve a gay person now. It is almost like you're not cool unless you are openly pro gay now. There was a time when an advertisement like that would be made without pointing out an individual group.

btw, I have gay relatives and have nothing against them, or the laws that have legalized gay marriage.

It was one commercial out of what? 50? You cant tolerate one rainbow flag but you are totally OK with gay people...

And Commercials single out groups all the time, are you new to commercials? Do Farmers Only ads trigger you this much?

^LOL! That advertisement is stupid and annoying though. There has to be a less stupid way to promote love and respect for other humans. It's stupid Just like the current batch of Lincoln and Chevrolet advertisements are. Last night they kept playing that stupid Silverado advertisement. Damnit Chevy! Bring back the Bob Seger "Like a Rock" advertisements.

A gay/black/muslim/immigrant/whatever the fuck triggers you shitbrained shitfucks being in a commercial doesn't make the commercial political. It makes it reflect reality. The fact that any time such people / characters show up on a TV and you think it's political shows how far we have to go and that you still see such people as inferior.

The Illegal Mexican advertisement was stupid. For some reason they have decided to go with diversity and inclusiveness over comedy on Super Bowl Sunday. Coke has always done that, so it is nothing new, but I want some quality comedy!!!!!!!!! I just want to see Pepsi and Bud making fun of their rivals like they used to do! Save race relations for Monday!

I'd say the side forcing quotas and identity politics sees other groups as inferior.

BTW if you don't think these "diversity" virtue-signaling commercials aren't political you are being naïve.

People don't like these commercials, not because they are racist, but because they are sick of the nonstop politically correct bullshit identity politics being forced down their throat in non-political mediums.

If you are a black-homo-tranny-muslim-jew that likes Coke, good for you? I don't care what your liberal labels are, because identity politics are bullshit and we should judge people by the content of their character, not on their membership in a victimhood collective. I want to watch funny commercials, not watch companies cave into paying lipservice to the leftist agenda of identity politics

I wonder if it has anything to do with the blue areas of the country is where most of the country' money (and education) is concentrated? So they're targeting left-leaning consumers?

For Airbnb they were just trying to do damage control because 1/9999999999 users was a troll sending racist messages, so naturally that went viral since we know how much the media loves the racism narrative.

So with the current politically correct atmosphere created by the left (see the tranny nonsense with Charlotte), every company has to pay lip service to diversity and virtue signal, or risk bad press.
