course comments :Covers "theory" of architectural design. On that note, it wasn't bad.

class comments :The class was pretty easy (Look at the distribution), but the projects were a bit too artsy for me. Guess that's what you get in a School of Design course.

instructor comments :If you have a problem, go to the TA. Harmon has no idea what's going on in his class administratively. Clearly knows a lot about the course subject, but comes off looking like a stuck-up bastard.

class comments :the material was alright, you learn some stuff, but you had better STAY AWAKE and NOT TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBORS, he will harass you if you slip up like that.
instructor :Harmon

instructor comments :Very knowledgable since he's a practicing architect, somewhat humorous, easy tests.

class comments :Projects graded by TAs. 2 big tests that you better read everything you are given for. I think 10 quizess like every day for the last 10 meetings before the final. Really I believe too much work for a non major course (I am NOT in the College of Design)
instructor :Harmon
instructor rating :1 - Bad
instructor comments :I'd say bad since he really doesn't do much of anything except show slides. The TAs pretty much do all the work and grading, so be on their good side, not his. Hell you could just pretend he doesn't exist and it would make absolutley no difference!!

course :ARC 140
course rating :0 - Horrible
course comments :The projects are horrible, the TA's say they want one thing then flame you because you're not an architectual genius... The material COULD be interesting, but I'll cover that later.

class comments :Everyone pretty much gets an A in this class but it's not an "Easy A" by any means. The material isn't challenging or anything-- the class just sucks. You have to go on these retarded field trips and you have to provide your own transportation. If you or someone you know in the class doesn't have a car DON'T SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS because you won't be able to go on the "required" field trips. The books are total bull shit-- don't buy them unless you have ~$100 you'd like to waste on 'coffee tabl

instructor comments :This guy is as arrogant as they come. Total jackass. He spends the first 5min of class on his dinky cell phone trying to act all cool in his t-shirt and blazer. Then, he pawns you off to 5 TAs who actually give you your grade for the class via stupid projects and pointless quizzes. He's also not in class most of the time because he's "a professional architect" and this stupid ARC140 class means jack shit to this guy. He acts like a complete dick and he goes as far as wasting class time to call o

class comments :I really enjoyed this class. It's a great elective. You do kindergarden projects every week and watch slides on different types of architecture. Took a few fun fieldtrips. This class has made me notice different tyes of structures instead of only seeing a building. Really fun class!
