course comments :This was about the hardest class I've ever taken... But worth it. Required course. Cool because it was hard but the material was interesting--worth studying for.

class comments :Class usually took the entire time, girls:guys about 1:1, attendance not required and lectures based strongly on class notes and textbook. Material presented well although reading outside of class helped a lot. Lecture notes weren't as helpful to me as the book was, but I sat beside someone who liked the notes better. Book definitely worth buying.

instructor comments :It's actually *ANholt*. He likes to come across as hardcore and obnoxious, and he can stay obnoxious, but he's definitely out to help students learn and succeed in the class and beyond. Most kids who take Zo 421 are headed to some sort of medical or veterinary school. He made jokes a lot and most of the time they were funny. Helpful outside of class but had limited office hours. Assignments were graded promptly and fairly. The tests were all essay, he may or may not do it that way again bu
