I think the rides section would be cool if there was a map of the raleigh area so people could request local rides, etc.... maybe have common destinations on there such as bojangles, movies, etc?

although considering the last time the Rides page got fucked up and no one fixed it for 3 months I doubt anyone will bother adding this feature.

how far in advance do you know you're going to bo's or the movies or something?

i think it's a good idea in theory but threads would serve the "instant" purpose more than the added feature

^ true; but right now the Rides section is a more "long term thing" ... if they were to add a "local rides" option then people could get used to looking at that before they make a thread. It would also be easier for others to just PM the person who needs/has a ride then to keep up with the thread and keep bttt'ing it.

Some people use TWW just for Classifieds ... if the feture is good enough, a "local rides" section might give people another reason to join TWW.
