look, they disabled the search function so that the site would run smoother. deal with it.

why disable it? how would it make it run easier? i mean without it we keep making pointless double threads, would we not?

i mean why not add a time table limit to it and that would stop it from searching 4 years of threads. that would make it run a lil smoother, no?

Ok, I thank you for enabling to search for other posts by username, but why can't I search for terms in topics and posts anymore? The search seemed to go really fast by the way.

How about putting a time limit on searches like other forums. Like only one search a minute per user. I would think that would work.

purging the user list and old pointless threads would make a much larger difference wouldn't it?
I'm sure you could give a mod who's willing access to do that for a few days just to get it done.
