nothing personal. he has to many beefs with to many people, which he allows to influence his decisions. he is no longer an impartial moderator. replace him or just don't have a moderator. there really isn't that much of a need in the garage.

I haven't been around the last couple days, but it seems like more crap has happened, and jsquared has been abusing his privileges as a moderator. He uses what he's been given to retaliate against personal attacks over the internet (which quite honestly, shoudn't even be taken as seriously as he takes them because this is the internet) and he has somehow turned a moderator's job of dealing with flame wars and large arguments in a forum into some sort of quality control bullshit. The garage really does need a different person in that position.

j^2 seems to have good judgement both as a person and as a moderator. There really is no way to be impartial as a moderator but having met JJ I can tell you that he really holds no vices against people unless they do somthing pretty supid consistantly.

i got nothing against him as a person, i'm sure if i met him in person i would probably enjoy bein around him since i don't really know anyone i don't get along with. i just can't find any of the logic behind his moderating decisions. i don't believe i've had anything locked or deleted that i know of, but i'm getting tired of interesting shit gettin deleted or locked.

i noticed in the thread about the Lotus Elise that JJ just randomly posted a JDM Nissan up there. He deletes a picture of desmodromic valves in a thread about them, but he puts up a Skyline in a thread about a Lotus. thats kinda hippocritical isn't it?

I haven't been trying to post much during the week anymore because I have all kinds of things going on, and I haven't posted in the garage in a long while.

That being said, I don't think it's been moderated well with the additional jsquared, and I honestly don't have a problem with him, as I'm sure I'm just as irritating to him on this site. Some of those threads by ToiletPaper and OptimusPrime have gotten kind of ridiculous, but I haven't even traipsed into the garage in a long while, so I really have no perspective to compare it to anything else.

As far as jsquared being a moderator, I've said it a long time before this, and since I got no support, I laid apathetic to the cause. Now since you people are coming around, I'd agree with you I suppose, but like I said, it makes no difference to me anymore. But I'll have to admit it's kind of bad when people that have no qualms with him are starting these notices...

Jake and Joe don't even get on everyday. One of them even posted that sometimes they just get in the mood to suspend and look at people that are brought up in the mod forums and in pm's to them and just suspend away.

And optmusprimer if you look up the user OptimusPrime you'll see that he is (or at least was) suspended yet has 0 posts. You were supposed to get suspended but someone else took the hit for you, you got lucky.
