I hope not. It's just that I've pointed out a few times he's made comments about threads he doesn't like that should be deleted. I agree they were tripe and should have been, but he turns a blind eye towards similar threads that were tripe and pissed me off.

***note that half (maybe more) of the people supporting this idea (in this thread, at the very least) are not particularly aligned with me. i wouldn't worry too much about my political leanings...i have a much bigger problem with "stupid" than any particular ideology. i think i'd be as good as anyone available at keeping my own ideologies out of my moderator duties. i'm fairly good at being objective. that said, if something is questionable, i'd prob PM a couple of other people (with differing opinions) to confirm my opinion before i lock something.

Well, theDuke866 sounds like he'd take the time to deliberate before he locked/deleted a thread. Throwing some of the political intentional "troll posts" into to chit-chat would be more interesting than deleting or locking it.

Basically, as long as he's fair, I won't have a problem with him moderating the SB

I agree another moderator would help b/c I am very busy and there has been an influx of threads in there with the election.

But theDuke866 has really helped a whole lot by posting the "puppy pissing on the computer pic" over and over and over in multiple threads. What would be really helpful is to send me a link with the shitty thread in it, so that I can then delete it.
