The police blotter is one of a few redeeming Technician features. I am often amazed by the total lack of notable activity on this campus. This thread, I hope, will chronicle some of the more interesting reports.

Sarose?
Tell the other person to stop? That's a novel concept.

How many times to the cops go to check something out and never find anything? If you get caught, you must be pretty damn stupid.
And I hate the days the Technician doesn't print the blotter. It should always be printed, everyday. 4/18/2005 5:11:23 PM |

OMG....I went to look at my school's 'blotter' but the 'Daily Wildcat' has the 'Police Beat' which has some of the more interesting/detailed ones.... here's one from Friday
A student reported a suspicious man Thursday who was walking with two bicycles and a pair of bolt cutters, reports stated.
The man was later arrested for possession of marijuana and crystal methamphetamine and had several warrants out for his arrest, reports stated.
Police spotted the man at East Speedway Boulevard and North Euclid Avenue and he said he owned one bicycle and the other he borrowed from a friend, reports stated.
The man said he had bolt cutters because he forgot the combination to his lock, reports stated.
Police conducted a record search and found the man had four warrants out for his arrest, reports stated.
Police asked if they could ask questions and search him, and the man said, "Yeah, sure," reports stated.
The man said he had a glass pipe in his front pocket that he used for "meth," reports stated.
Police also found a rolled up cigarette with marijuana, but the man said he had no idea how it got in his pocket, reports stated.
Neither bike had been reported stolen and since the man's arrest, no victims of stolen bikes have come forward, reports stated.
