Anyone plan on tuning in? The promos look pretty good, haven't read any reviews.

The characters all look like pretty obvious stereotypes, hopefully they will be halfway interesting once the show progresses.

It was pretty good. It reminded me a lot of things that I have seen and read about Vietnam (kinda scary)in that we were unable to just take out a position because of public relations and all of the journalists when they took the compund. We'll see how it goes next week.

I like how it makes an attempt to cover some of the problems publicized from Iraq. However, the hospital scenes played out more like a soap opera... bleh

I read some viewer reviews and they were pretty interesting. Civilians thought that it was good, but anyone in the military thought that it was one of the dumbest things that they'd ever seen.

Yep, that's what I've heard. When I was up visiting my brother at Fort Drum, the Watertown newspaper ran an article about soldiers' impression of the show from a screening. They ripped it apart.

Actually, it was pretty warm up there.

The weather reports were hilarious, though. "Wednesday and Thursday will be very hot, with highs of 89 and 90 degrees."

It's no band of brothers, but i like the show. I record it every week and watch it when i have time. It's nice how they show all different sides of the war, like the injured, the wives/husband/kids back home. I think thats the best part of the show.
