That's what my daddy does for a living... gets to play with boats all day

He's a boat broker in Wilmington....

If I was gonna boat off at work, I'd boat off in a pimp ass Regulator....

While on the subject, and since some of you have boats....MY PURSUIT RECENTLY SANK!!!! Any of you interested in fishing the tarpon tourney in Oriental this weekend???

We can roll it over on my entry fees since I've already paid. Got a FAT crib lined up right at the marina too. Pretty much stumble across the street and fall right into the boat.

My love of boats started with Sailboats. We had a beautiful Fontaine Pajot for about 4 years... but sold it recently cause it was too big for day trips and we all got too busy for month long sails

but in the past few years I've started to ADORE sport fishers...

I love them. I think I'd rather have a new boat over a new car.

I think my dad was determined to make me a "guy's girl"

he has been hauling me to classic car shows since I was a toddler...
insisted I learned how to drive a stick and change a tire
I can remember being about 7 when he took me to shoot skeet for the first time... the kick scared the heck out of me and mad me cry at first, but he set me up again and made me shoot another one.... when I was 13 he signed me up for a hunters safety course
And I've always been on boats... we go check em out at the marina's together.

I may be a girly girl despite his best efforts, but I can sure appreciate the things guys love too.

Me too. Hell, I even asked her to marry me...and I was serious!

For the tourney, it's a max of 4 anglers, then they stick an observer on your boat with you. Needs to be a pretty stout boat. The Pamlico Sound get f'n snotty in a hurry. I'd take 10' offshore swell over a 3' Pamlico chop ANY day of the week. I've had waaaaay too many hairy situations out there on smaller boats.
