my car was towed from lake park on friday. I dont have the money to pay to get it out from the Complete Towing Inc. They charge me 25 dollars per day to have it sit there. My radiator is busted, so i can't drive it, therefore they are gonna charge me 50 dollars to have it towed from Complete Towing Inc. to my house. So i'm just trying to figure out a way that i could bypass that extra 50 bucks, so that i can get my car and put in my radiator, so that i dont have to walk everywhere. 8/2/2005 6:10:17 PM |

i drove my car with a busted radiator, fill it up with water, bring a couple of jugs of water with you on the ride to your house, take the cap off the radiator so pressure doesnt build up.. dont put on the a/c and turn your heat on high you'll be fine. 8/2/2005 6:16:43 PM |

having it towed will only save you two days storage. it'll take you two days to find and arrange for someone else to tow it for you. so why not just let them tow it for you and save the hassell? 8/2/2005 8:14:37 PM |

his radiator won't hold water long enough for it to even make it out of the parking lot.
I can tow it out of their lot,... but I can't go very far with it.

not to be an ass...ok well i'll be an ass...but if you don't have the money to pay $50 for towing it home, then you aren't going to have money to get it out in two days time. right?
so why not suck it up and pay the $50 tow home rather than waiting 4 days to have someone tow it for you and have to pay $100 to get it out of the lot.
if towing was like $100 or $150, i could see wanting to find someone else to tow, but $50 is a no brainer.8/3/2005 9:27:39 AM |

it was 225 to get it out..it was sitting since friday and i got it out today and some how made it home without it overheating at all. Filled it up with water at the gas station beside the tow place..made it from garner all the way down tryon, stopped at food lion to put in a little more water, back down tryon, turn down lineberry, to gorman and up to kaplan and it never overheated..i was pretty impressed..but damn did it leak pretty bad. 8/3/2005 10:45:43 PM |

careful limping around cars like that, once it loses all its coolant the temp guage doesn't really work. you may think it's okay, when it's really hotter than hell. 8/4/2005 4:22:03 PM |

yeah, i'm not driving it anymore...it's sitting in my driveway...Kinda sucks when you have wasps nest on your engine blocks and shit..kinda hard to find what you are looking for (draincock). 8/4/2005 7:37:19 PM |
