that won't trash my wheels? I'm in need of new tires and a guy is selling a set of new tires and wheels for the cost of new tires. Only issue is they're not mounted. The wheels don't have so much as a single scratch and I'd like to keep it that way. Seems like the concensus is to avoid bj's, sam's, and walmart, so where should I go to avoid spending more than necessary (<$50)? 8/7/2005 1:39:56 PM |

I've never had any problems with Murray's scratching anything. They are probably cheap too. 8/7/2005 1:52:30 PM |

atlantic tire in cary does pretty good and is cheap. MMautowerks will definately do it right, but might charge a little more depending on size 8/7/2005 1:54:36 PM |

You can mount a tire if you want. I prefer to mount women. 8/7/2005 2:06:44 PM |

bj's did my new 18s. Didn't have any problems there. I'm not sure about their balancing abilities though.
^ you still need those other 4 wheels broken down? 8/7/2005 2:08:16 PM |

Atlantic Tire in Cary sucks real bad - I wouldn't trust them with anything. My girlfriends dad had her take her Corolla there to take the spare off and put the standard tire (that I already fixed) back on and they claimed a valve core was leaking, charged $15, and broke the spare tire hold down and won't pay to fix it.
I too have heard good stuff about Murray's. 8/7/2005 2:15:08 PM |

^^Actually, yes. I'm fixing to move, and I would prefer not to take all these damn old tires with me.
Shoot me your number again...I'll give you a ring. 8/7/2005 2:19:04 PM |
