yea its funny seeing a lot of ppl put premium in their cars thinking its SOOO much better for them and theyre doing the car a favor..morons.

some cars really do need it though, just to stop them from knocking like hell...hell i'll run the mid-grade stuff in the corvette if prices get much higher...well, until i get the heads/cam on

11:1 CR + 6 psi boost = 93 octane

but that's cool. i get over 20 mpg, and i'll gladly pay what i pay in fuel in exchange for horsepower.

yall are a bunch of cheap dump fucks, just run what your car requires....my tank is 15 gallons so i would save a wopping $3 so my car can knock on 87, i don't think so

for all of you that are mathamatically challanged.....15*$0.20 = $3

i'm about to drive my S2000 from Pensacola, FL to Raleigh.

and i don't even wanna think about how much it's gonna cost, especially if you factor in the cost of Mobil 1 and 18" G-force KDWs on top of fortyeleven gallons of high-test.

Are you sure about that? My 305TBI gets about 12-18 and a LS1 doesnt even get 32 atleast the last ones I saw at a dealership.

^^^your 305TBI doesn't have a late model f-bod's ridiculous 6th gear. i doubt the EPA rates the car at 32 mpg highway, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone pulled it off.

my ls1 sure as fuck doesnt get 32mpg unless i'm going downhill in 6th at 60mph a lot...Unfortunately 60mph is about where it gets the best mileage...although I highly doubt your friends LT1 does either, but whatever...

i saw 26-28mpg frequently in my 94 lt1. running 70-80mph and not really driving in a fuel efficient manner in general. 30-31 in my dad's c5 once going 70-75 on the way to wilmington. i don't even bother to look at gas prices anymore, just swipe my card bite the bullet and put it in.

I paid about 1.2 Euro per litre in April while touring Germany (drove about 1200 kms). That was about 6 dollars per gallon with then exchange rates. I dont complain about gas much after that.

Its 2.29 here in upstate SC.

yeah, on that particular trip the display was saying 33. my numbers were actual mileage (as actual as the odometer can be). run it any faster than that and it drops to mid-high 20's.
