Memorex internal DVD+/-RW drive about to be installed. 70 bux w/ 30 mail in rebate from BB.

oh yeah, they have 100 packs of dvd-rw's on sale for 40 bucks after rebate too.

set up time! + i'm sure the box needs a good cleaning... it's been a year or so since i've been inside it...

yeah, sorry folks.

i forgot that i need to be able to burn on the fly.

so i guess i'll need that dvd-rom drive after all. (it's replacing my cd-r device tomorrow PM).

Sweet. Two days on separate occasions I've got to tweak my machine. Nice.

Gdit i had to redistribute space onthe original hd to get the overhead necessary to burna data-dvd this afternoon. must've taken a half hour w/ partitionmagic.

but it works now, nothing like getting rid of 5 G of space at a time! 5 burns in, it's still working fine.
