3x of the un Microsystems GDM-5510 21" Perfect Flat FD Trinitrons I have in Classifieds


Video Cards:
Radeon 9600XT AGP
Shitty S3 PCI (need to find something better soon)

Current Settings:
1280x1024 @ 100hz, 32bpp on two, 1024x768 on left
Need a better PCI card to make it work on the left


Was a pain in the ass to set up, had to make the PCI card the primary in BIOS before Windows would see it, and took forever to get the drivers sorted out so I could watch fullscreen video on the primary monitor. Totally worth it though!








So anybody know any killer apps, etc for a multi-monitor setup? I've already found Multi-Monitor Taskbar to be a great tool.

Yep, this corner is DEFINATELTY getting a tad toasty. The Athlon 64 desktop and giant 2200VA UPS don't help much either.

Unfortunately my utilities are not at a flat rate. This is going to hurt just a tad, but its worth it.






And stop insulting my corded mouse. Who would I bother with a cordless when it never leaves that same spot on my desk anyways?

dude I've been running 3 CRT monitors for the better part of 2 years now




and to be honest, your power bill won't take that big of a hit


I've averaged a $65 bill for the A/C months so far this year


I never turn my computers off, either, as I'd assume you'll do


and yes, the ONLY multi-monitor app you should be using is UltraMon. Yes, it's something you have to pay for

watch the sunday papers, places that sell computers run specials on them very regularly. I got my mx420 PCI card for $30 after rebates... normally it was ~$60

been running 3 monitors for over a year now... but I don't have 21" heaters
