I don't know where they went but I'm fucking pissed.

I tried to find them on another station and the only one I got had pretty bad reception.

They made a joke about it this morning... "Home of Jon Boy and Billy in the morning. Sike, August Fools!"

I didnt even notice it not being on this morning, I generally tune their crap out when I listen to the radio in the mornings. I do know that last week they were "on vacation" or something, because all last week was the best of JB&B.

i used to love listening to them.

...but then they turned their show into one big commerical. every 2 minutes they were promoting one of their bbq sauces or CDs or whatever, so i stopped listening.

slightly off topic, but i really can't understand why morning radio shows are so fucking popular. i mean, you'd think people driving too work in the morning would wanna get in a groove with some good songs, but instead its just talking. whats so different about the afternoon than the morning?

because in the morning everyone is pissed that they have to be going to work in the first place and need something to keep them from shooting the fucker in front of them who won't move his hunk of shit out of the way so they won't be late.

atleast that was my sentiment last semester when i had morning classes. i mainly like to listen to rayford, the wordyword game, and dumb crook news. everything else was just kind of filler that occaisionally got a chuckle outta me. but they definetly have become too much of a running commercial now.

but then they just started talking about nascar all the time and i gave it up

kinda got tired of talk radio in the morning anyhow...there's enough talking at work...i'd rather hear some music

As far as I'm concerned, there aren't really any good morning shows anymore. Just give me music. But then again, I'm more likely to listen to 88.1 anyway, so...

Crud. Well this only leaves "Bob and Tom". I can't stand them. Granted that all "laughter" on talk shows is fake but Bob an Tom take it to a whole new level of hurt. They "laugh" at everything. Not a natural haha laugh; it almost sounds as if they are just saying/forcing out a AH AH AH AH AH AH AH AH. For a great example of what I am talking about tune in when they have a guy on the air doing a parody song. They will be chortling the entire time in the most nerve grating way imaginable - terrible, just terrible.

John Boy and Billy could fake their laughs better.

Rock 96 plays good songs now? Seriously I haven't heard anything good on the radio unless the song is at least 10 years old. I don't think I'm so old as to be out of touch but the 00's will go down as the worst music decade ever in my book. I listened to talk shows in the morning because it was a change of pace. You still have the music on other stations and the ride home if you want.

I'd pick JB&B over Linkin Park and the other part "rock" part backstreet boys crap that gets infinite air play nowadays.
