cool concept, but not practical, just use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste
they need to get antialiasing working on it, then put it on a Mac, then it will fit in perfectly 8/22/2005 10:33:30 AM |

Is it really that difficult to drag the window to somewhere else on the screen? 8/22/2005 2:11:38 PM |

I mean, I guess it might not look that ugly animated, but you were on the right track with Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V...
Windows-D, select file, Ctrl-X/Ctrl-C, Alt-Tab, Ctrl-V
takes like half a second. I can't imagine the folding being any faster than that without being consequently hard to control. 8/22/2005 4:23:45 PM |

i really like the idea actually. nevermind that the "fold" is a little ugly, it's mostly just a proof of concept. it's unique and new, and if OSX implemented this all of you'd be secretly (or openly) drooling, and trying to duplicate it in Windows.
innovation is a very rare thing, and few people are talented enough for it. 8/22/2005 9:58:31 PM |

yeah, i like it too. i'm all about keyboard shortcuts but sometimes when you got a ton of windows open, it's quicker to drag stuff than alt-tab through everything
and i don't know what all y'all are talking about windows-d for, sometimes you want to paste in places other than the desktop
