missed his call this morning, i was sleeping hard. had to go to work when i woke up. supposed to meet again this evening.
^^what's the difference between the rr and the f4i? i'm guessing similar to comparing an r6 to a yzf600?
^shouldn't be too hard for them to build you a small credit file to go from based on any bills you pay, rent, etc.

well, it's here. it's got a slight miss between 8-9k rpm's under WOT that i didn't feel when i test drove it (drove it kinda easy, i just now wrung it out). nothing bad though, probably just needs some cleaning of the tb's, etc.
^it's a much different feeling bike than yours. light to light, your bike would probably take it. once it gets wound up though, it screams. low end has much to be desired, even in sport bike terms. maybe a sprocket swap in the future...

nice, lets see some pics of it. I'm still in the process of fixing my fenders and repainting the bike. I'm making my own fender eliminator kit cause I think paying 150 bucks for a set of 2 brackets and a bag of nuts and bolts is lame when any idiot with enough brain to measure and cut metal could do it for 10 bucks worth of materials.

nah, you have it kinda backwards.

R6 ~= 600RR
F4i ~= YZF-600R

although the F4i is a more capable bike than a YZF-600. the YZF is pretty comparable to an F3...but yeah, both fill the niche of the "has-been cutting-edge race-replica that's now a cheaper, more comfortable, arguably better all-around stablemate to the state-of-the-art machine."


GSX-R, R6/R1, ZX-6R/RR/10R, and CBR-600RR/1000RR are the current front-line race replica machines.

in order of least outdated to most outdated, the F4i, YZF-600, ZZR-600, and Katana (GSX) are all bikes that used to be the hottest things around, but are now just kept around but never updated, and sold for reduced price (the ZZR-600 is the same bike as the old ZX-6e). they (with the arguable exception of the Katana) are all good-to-great sportbikes, but no longer competive roadracers. they're like ex-racing greyhounds that have been adopted and are now perfectly good pets. actually, there's nothing really wrong with a Katana, but it's the most antiquated of the bunch, and there are other bikes (like the SV-650 series) that are better as entry-level, inexpensive sportbikes.
