FAQ About Student Tickets and the Online System

Question 2:
Can I still request tickets for the VTech/NCSU game?
Answer 2:
No. However, if there are extra tickets, they will be online in the "On-Demand" phase from 12:01 am Thurs to Noon on Friday.

How do I sign in?
Answer 3:
For your first time, you should click on the "First time signing in link" and follow directions

Question 4:
How do I know if I got tickets?
Answer 4:
You should get an email, if you clicked that you're willing to receive emails.
However, if you don't get an email, you should still check on the website. Click on "Your Tickets". This will let you know if you've been chosen in Lottery 1.

Question 5:
My bf/gf signed up under my group, and he/she didn't win a ticket but I did...what gives?
Answer 5:
PM me your UnityID, and I'll look into it. You should have all won, but evidently there are a few people that have found an exception.

Question 6:
I can't log in. Can you [tell me what to do/reset my password/activate my account/help]?
Answer 6:
First, try the "forgot password" link. And here, if your ncsu.edu email doesn't work, try the unity.ncsu.edu ending.

If that doesn't work, PM me your UnityID.

Question 7:
My printer blew up halfway through printing, and now it won't let me print any more tickets. What should I do?
Answer 7:
Try another computer, as the cache has caused some people to lose this ability (shouldn't, but it does sometimes). If that doesn't work, PM me your UnityID.

Question 8:
How do I get a parking pass?
Answer 8:
Print your game ticket, take it to Reynolds on Thursday from noon - 4pm. They scan it so we don't give you more than one per ticket, and you get a parking pass until we run out.

Question 9:
Can I give my ticket to another student? Do they match the Student ID to the ticket? Do they scan the student ID, the ticket, or both?
Answer 9:
Yes, you can give your ticket to another student. The Student ID (All-Campus Card) is not matched to the name on the ticket. The All-Campus Card isn't scanned, just looked at. The printed ticket w/ the barcode is scanned.

Question 10:
What do I need to know about Game Day?
Answer 10:
Enter only through gates 10A or 12. Bring your student ID and printed game ticket. Gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Parking lots (yes, all of them) open 4 hours prior to kickoff. Seating is Gen. Admission, so the earlier you get there, the better the seat you get is.

Tip: I tried to use special characters in my password like (&,#,@,etc.) which made it difficult to log in. I recommend not using any special characters.

Is it too late to request guest tickets? I can't seem to find any documentation of this process on the tickets.ncsu.edu website.

Use the forgot password tool

The zip code and email must be used exactly as it appears in the NCSU Online Directory as your local address. Those two things are very important, otherwise it won't work.

i still haven't seen a good response to how the penalty won't effect groups. If groups are either all or none, then how does the penalty of a person in a group not hurt the group as a whole. Or how can it hurt that person without hurting the group as a whole.

parking:
students are all in state fair ground

penalties:
If you're in a group, and you miss the game, you can't sign up for a group anymore, and your chances are cut in half. The group isn't affected by your miss.
If you're a group leader, and you miss the game, you can no longer be a group leader or be in a group and your chances are cut in half.

fairgrounds as in the long walk to the stadium plus now we have to walk all the way to the rbc side to get in????? by the way my id is from freshman year and looks nothing like me i really hope the people working wont be all mean cause as of right now my ticket is with my gf's name on it and my ID looks like 3 years old....

because they are dedicated student entrances, meaning only students can get in them

your ticket has a section number
and unless you're in section 6, it has a random seat number which is really your ticket number

just follow the section number, and that's the section you're allowed to sit in

GROUP LEADERS...for future reference...MUST DO THIS

Group leaders must also enter their unityID in the space for group leader's ID when requesting tickets...otherwise, the group is never officially formed
