Season 2 starts September 21st.

The teasers have been rocking so far. Some friends and I were talking and we figure that the next season will focus on faith.

I only caught the last 3 episodes of the first season when they originally aired, but I've almost caught up thanks to summer reruns.

As for the old thread (/message_topic.aspx?topic=248630), 44 pages is too long for me to read. I'm pretty sure it's the longest thread I've seen in Entertainment.

The important question I pose to everyone that we all want to know is...
Why hasn't the fat guy lost any weight?

There's nothing too special about it, in an artistic sense.

But they just put a bunch of people in a REALLY WEIRD situation, and instead of explaining the situation, they just make it more confusing by ending each show with the cheap trick of a crucial cliff-hanger.

Walt and Alex are sort of like Neos, who are destined to fight an epic stugle against one another for the fate of the world. Locke has been searching for one of the two Neos for his whole life, and he finally sensed Walt's power on the plane. He used his connections with the CIA to get the plane to crash on the island where he used to train polar bears to fight nano-bots... or ghosts, I'm not sure which. Locke set this whole thing up to train Walt to have Real Ultimate Power, so that he can win against Alex, who is being trained by Locke's arch foe, the Gordan's Fisherman (he can not be trusted).

i watched the show till there were 10 episodes left

that was about the time i picked up World of Warcraft

So i waited, got the DVD set, and watched it all in two days. That probably helped.

I caught the two hour special last night. I'm into the show but I don't watch it religiously because I just can't just watch an hour of it. I need more. That's why I'm getting the first season.

I'm a "Lost" noob, and I know there are alot of things during the show that have some eeper meaning like the numbers etc.

I remember there being a polar bear on the island in the first few episodes. Anyone notice that that heavy guy was reading a Flash comic book on the plane before it crashed, it had a huge polar in it.

Don't know what it means of course, just thought I would share. Looking forward to the 2nd season.

I totally agree in that some of the episodes of season one I would not have been able to wait a week for the resolution. DVDs are definatly a blessing in that case. With that said though I am going to be glued to the tv during season two and just have to wait anxiously for the next episode.

some guy was repeating the numbers in a mental hospital or something...so hurley decided to use them on the lottery..he then traced the numbers to australia and the guy said they were bad...
it hasn't been explained why they are on the island yet..
