anybody drive an si, gsr, that runs 87? I've read multiple things but as far as i can tell (from what i've read) if your not vtecking the shit out of it shifting at 8k then you can run reg gas. opinions? 9/1/2005 4:41:34 PM |

the ecu won't let you hurt that engine by running lower octane. it will just retard the timing when it detects knock. expect a check engine light, though, but is easy to get rid of when you run 93 in it again by going to the fuse box in the engine bay. you will see a 7.5a back-up fuse. pull it for 30 sec., then re-install.
