So the m3 I got on ebay was a piece. I wasted my time and money flying to PA to see such a piece. So I settled on a dakr blue A4 1.8t quattro 5 speed.

I always wondered what happened if the buyer doesn't want to go through a purchase off ebay.
I once was the high bidder on a 300ZX on ebay but the buyer backed out after he found a local buyer for $300 more. Ebay said I was obligated to buy but he wasn't obligated to sell. What happened this time since you were the one to back out? That sucks that you had to go all the way to PA to find out the true condition though. 9/5/2005 5:55:07 AM |

much better choice
as much fun as an M3 can be, the automatic would have ruined it
the 1.8t 5 speed is a very good car 9/5/2005 8:20:43 AM |

last week on ebay I missed winning an auction by 30 minutes and offered the guy twice his final value price if he sold it to me instead, he agreed and I recieved it in like 3 days. a very risky deal, i was lucky he didnt just take my $ and still sell it to the other guy. 9/5/2005 10:39:46 AM |

yeh a chip does wonders for that car. its a little big/heavy for that motor but w/ a chip the added torque makes it feel a lot lighter. nice car 9/5/2005 10:41:04 AM |

ATP also has parts for upgrading to the 28rs
edit: the 30r may be laggy. i know the 28r is a little laggy (but comes on strong) in the transverse 1.8t. a t03/t04 is also a good choice for this motor.
