Well seeing how one of the Thai protest leaders got popped recently I would say this protest is on the tame side OEPI.

I just hope Obama sticks to his word in his state of the union speech and keeps the US far and away from all this bullshit.

There's a list of streams on reddit and one of them, euromaden I think, pretty much displayed everything thats in this thread a couple nights ago right before my eyes.

First round. With the Russian Army mobilizing and chunks of Ukraine like Sevastopol where pro-Russian groups have toppled the Ukrainian central government officials, installed their own leaders and are calling for secession however, this crisis is hardly over.

If anything, I think there's still a good chance that the country could fragment and civil war erupt between pro-Western and pro-Russian forces.

Things are going from bad to worse in the Ukraine. Unknown armed men are seizing airports and government facilities in the Crimea; some of my buddies who are experts on this stuff say that the equipment, training and tactics mark them as professionals.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian interim government is invoking the Budapest Memorandum, a treaty we and the Russians signed back in 1994 to secure the denuclearization of Ukraine. In exchange for giving up its nuclear arsenal, the United States, UK and Russia agreed to ensure the independence and territorial integrity of the Ukraine.
