So i'm thinking I need a new video card sometime. I've determined that I have an AGP 2.0 1.5v slot, but I don't know how to tell which of the newer AGP cards will be compatible with my AGP slot. Any of you guys have any insight into my problem? 9/12/2005 9:46:58 AM |

Just do some reading about the cards that you're interested. You aren't going to magically learn the spec of a card unless you do some research. I'd check out the manufacturers' websites. 9/12/2005 10:11:29 AM |

You probably want to get a new motherboard, as almost every card out today is AGP 3.0 spec and there is absolutely no garauntee any will run properly.
Plus, being that agp 2.0 boards are old as they are, you probably would see better performance from a cpu/motherboard upgrade anyway. 9/12/2005 11:53:59 AM |
