The bumpers usually aren't dropped enough, so the first thing they would impact is my windshield.

The lights up on the truck are working, but the ones on the trailer aren't. That could be because of the accident, but that would be pretty fucked up if the truck was stopped on the highway with no lights and the guy nailed it.

Remember that accident on the beltline a few years back where someone broke down late at night in the middle of the road with no lights and an 18 wheeler hit them, killing the people in the truck (Chevy Blazer iirc?)

the truck is in the emergency lane

i bet that the corvette driver was pissed of about traffic and passed everyone in the emergency lane and didnt see the truck until it was too late

the part that is circled is the actual bumper that drops down underneath the taillights. no taillights are mounted on that part.
