South Park is not moderate, conservative, or liberal. They make fun at everything and how dumb society nowadays is. South Park is tries to keep it real. Therefore, it is a Realist show.

the reason it seems conservative is because the mainstream media RARELY makes fun of liberal positions

so when a show does make fun of liberals - even if it is making fun of conservative positions just as frequently - it still seems out of the ordinary

South Park definitely makes asses out of a lot of left-wing groups, but I wouldnt say they promote a conservative viewpoint. Its just easier to mock hippies.

They mock hippies, they mock hunters, they mock rednecks, they mock Christians in general, Catholics in specific, Jews too, they mock wholistic medicine, environmentalism, the president, entertainers, and activists both pro- and anti-war. I think it's safe to say they mock EVERYBODY.
