my advisor was pissed at me for dropping IE 311 because the new major concentration i was getting into didnt require it.. he says the FE exam asks IE 311 questions

so i told him i would audit it or something and he initially said that sounded ok but then in my new semester plans, he put it under engineering electives...has anyone here taken the FE and can remember anything about IE 311 being on it?

from what i've heard, under the new curriculum IE311 is not required yes but some engineering courses that are now required for ur major (they were previously electives) incorporate IE into them. so even though ur not havin a full IE class u will still have IE material in that new required class under the new curriculum.

and for the FE i'm pretty sure there is IE related stuff.
