My thoughts on...
New Orleans New York Saints vs New York Giants

Why the Saints play their home game 8 miles outside of New York City... on the Giants home field is beyond me. There are dozens of better places driving distance from New Orleans good enough to host an NFL game. Auburn, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Hattiesville, and Baton Rouge... all those places would be fine to host one damn football game and are driving distance from their home crowd. I don't expect this game to be very exciting... but at least I wont know who'll win this game before it's played...

Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys

Why this game is being played at all is beyond me... The Redskins lost 14 of the last 15 times they've played. Besides the last game of the 2002 season, I don't remember when the Skins beat the Cowboys. It doesn't matter whose coaching. It could be Gibbs, Petitbon, Turner, Robiskie, Schottenheimer, Spurrier, or Gibbs again. It doesn't matter who the quarterback is... It could be Frerotte, Johnson, George, Mathews, Ramsey, Brunell. The Redskins will find a way to lose this game just like they do every year. I hope they prove me wrong. You can't have a rivalry if only one team wins.

I watched him last night on some Redskins special on tv... I haven't gotten a chance to read the Post yet. Many of my thoughts were probably brought on by him from the show. It's not like it's secret that the Redskins suck against the cowboys, or that the saints are having to play their home game in New York.

If anything I hate the Giants more after this. They were HANDED a 9th home game by the NFL. I bet that the heads of the NFL want another Manning to have a succesful season and see this as a way to give him a bit of help (not really but I'm sure they cream themselves over the thought of Eli being good).

There is NO reason this game should be played at the Meadowlands. I already hate the Giants b/c of Manning and this is just adding to it. Fuck them..
