but really... porn? hmmm, I suppose someone could make a logical argument against porn from a religious perspective, but I don't see a logical argument against porn in general from a gov't perspective. I mean, yeah, certain kinds of porn like rape videos or kiddie porn or anything where an overt law is being broken and not just a law based on religion (IE, homosexuality, oral sex, maybe even beastiality)... I'm not sure if MathFreak just didn't understand what he quoted, or what.

He's saying that laws against oral sex and possibly beastiality are based on religion, which is essentially true. They are "equal" in that sense.

He's also saying that pornography with those acts should not be attacked when brought to someone's attention, because they are "based [only] on religion."

I think if you read it again it will be clearer.
