As for the purpose of thread, well, I think it's interesting to note that not only did the crusaders kill Muslims and Jews, they also killed people like GrumpyGOP. Something folks often forget when remembering the Crusades.

Shit yeah. The Fourth Crusade, I believe it was, was the one where the Catholics were basically like, "Yeah, let's go to the Holy Land!...holy shit, the Holy Land is really far away. Let's just stop in rob the everloving shit out of Constantinople instead. It's closer."

There is, of course, a reason that we're about as bitter towards the Catholics as we are the Muslims.
