So my comp is messed up and I tried to borrow a windows xp system recovery disk from my gf(mine was misplaced somewhere), but her disks are for hp computers only, and I have a Dell. Does anyone have a disk that I could borrow for a day, or any other suggestions of ways I could do it without having the actual software. 9/25/2005 8:05:08 PM |

MSDNAA
You are in ECE I think they have it. Go to password recovery and put your unity email in. You should get a password back. It is not the same as your unity ID/login.
I don't think anyone here would be willing to give you their MSDNAA login. You only get one install. They give it to you they are out.
^best not alienate ppl that are trying to help ya

1) What type of Dell System do you have? 2) Which version of Windows XP do you have? Pro or home? 3) What are you wanting to do with the recovery disk? 4) What's the problem with your computer that makes you WANT to use the recovery disk? 5) Why haven't you sent in a request to the help@ncsu.edu regarding not being able to login to MSDNAA by now?
You REALLY need to learn how to properly ask questions and provide enough detail so you can be helped out, instead of being bitchy. 9/27/2005 11:10:05 AM |
