how fast are you going?
Are all your lug nuts tight?
is it only when you are turning?

I can check it out tuesday, or next tuesday in Gboro if you need.

usually going like 35-50 in the actual turn

and im pretty sure the lugnuts are tight, ill go check that real quick

like if 90 is straight ahead, it usually only does it when im going around a curve past 60 or 120

i mean, i am an idiot when it comes to cars according to the almighty god pussyprimer, but seems to me that it wouldnt make a difference whether you are turning, driving staight or rolling end over end down a hill, a flat spot is a flat spot and will raise hell all the time

^ ok explain, i always thought the tread touched the ground when you drive, but apparently cars just levitate when driving straight now?

it's completely possible for the area where the flat spot is not to be touching the road driving in a straight line. the contact patch isn't always the whole tread surface. if it's at the edge of the tread area, camber is off, tires are worn on the outsides, etc.

maybe in that case, but the way he describes the problem, it would have to be huge spot on the tire to cause that much vibration, i've seen some pretty badly cupped and worn tires before that didnt change much driving straight or in a turn, and that era sentra is notorious for front end problems and trying to keep in alignment

in turn, i've seen numerous small flat spots or bubbles cause driveability issues. it very well could be something in the front end, but why discount the obvious, visible, and simple problem first...? doesn't make sense.

def. the gash in your wheel...that happened to me couple months ago...get a couple used tires (new if your budget permits) and you should be fine...

here are your answers

the gash was like 3 inches long. around that was a flat area that was a circle about the same size. i guess it was like driving on a square when that part of the tire tried to grab in turns and shit

i got a badass tire at walmart for 28 bucks

and now it drives just fine... perfect, just like what we all have come to expect from the powerful nissan sentra. i always thought that if it were a tire, it would be the front right. it felt like it was coming from there - so i only gave that tire a thorough lookover

i cant believe i was driving on that shit for 2 months

and the flat spot wasn't "distributed" across the whole tire. it was close to the outer edge

i think it blew out one of the belts or bands or whatever the metal shit is. piece of shit tire
