Anyone know where I can find an online business name lookup. Are the names national or per state or what? Like if there is an "ABC Inc." in California, can I name my business "ABC Inc." in North Carolina?
Thanks. 10/3/2005 10:09:17 AM |

To get an official response, you have to go downtown and they give you a phone number to call, at least that's the only way i know to get the phone number, they do an official lookup for you, and then you turn in the paperwork at that office to get the name. 10/3/2005 11:56:50 AM |

As long as your companies aren't in the same field, it dosen't matter, and sometimes, even then. Check out the Snyder's Chip Company (both of them) in PA. 10/3/2005 1:24:54 PM |

Same industry. Exactly, lol...
But different states, unless there is one in NC also. 10/3/2005 2:40:09 PM |
