Joel Oakley. I got a ticket for 87 in a 65 zone near Greensboro last summer, and he got it reduced down to "improper equipment".

a bird told me that you can have a ticket on your record for guilford county and do the following

do not pay the fine/court costs
do not go to court
completely ignore it ever happened

and have the following results

never have a warrant put out for you
never have license suspended for not paying/going to court
insurance may or may not be effected

disclaimer: this is only true for guilford county in nc
