^ ill agree with most of those (besides rush ) and even the new metal/hardcore bands. almost all of the new ones ive heard suck and are boring.

underoath definitely sucks now IMO(since you mentioned oath). this current band definitely is "new" but the band before them who was basically a totally different band and sound has been around for 7 going on 8 years so they def arent new

and between the buried and me/aka prayer for cleansing basically is not "new either" and has been around in some form for going on about 5 years id say? (since you stabbed at them with buried)

just figured id throw that out there to counteract your "new" and "whatever is cool today"

ive just generally found that music bereft of emotions which i find becoming of people. rage and anger is real, yeah. i dunno, i guess i judge it based on my two current roommates who are in such a band, and the scene is way to mysogynist and violent for me. i dont like the labels associated as well.

metal=judas preist
hardcore=black flag

screamo? dont know what exactly that is, but it sounds like it sucks.

I have never ever ever been able to get into these guys. Even after heavy drinking, when "You shook me all night long" comes on the jukebox and all the other drunk fucks are singing along, I still wanna pop my fucking ear drums when I hear that asshat sing. Guy sounds like he has to take a massive shit.

Rush sucks too but mainly because of Geddy Lee's voice, not as annoying as Brian Johnson's and Rush's music is OK, but damn! He needs to get his nuts to drop.

I won't argue this at all, but I definitely hate AC/DC a lot. It's about exposure, really. I don't ever have to listen to the worse bands much.
