I've currently got a semi-aged computer around the house. It's an athlon XP 1800+ w/ 1024 ram and a cheap Nvidia card w/ about 128mb's on it. 240GB disk space. It's nothing special, but i'm planning on improving it somewhat. The question is, what should I get if I'm trying to keep the price down.
I'm after a cheap motherboard with PCI-E support, which will take a 64 bit processor (don't really care if it's AMD or Intel) and a cheap PCI-E grapics card w/ a good amount of memory (at least equal to what I had).
Basically, I want recommendations: Where do most of you tdubbers shop for this stuff? Any motherboards/graphics cards/etc you would recommend in particular?  10/11/2005 4:12:43 PM
